In the light of Jesus, we learn to shine
The Governing Body of Elmsett School plays a crucial, but almost invisible role in shaping Elmsett School. You may see the evidence that we exist, but not know who we are or what we do, or indeed how you can get involved as a parent.
The Governors FAQ's below will hopefully make it clearer what the role of a Governor involves, who we are, what we do, and perhaps why we do it!
We are a diverse group of people with a wide range of backgrounds who bring our skills, time and enthusiasm to work with staff, parents and pupils to make our school an even better place for our children to grow, learn and develop.
I hope that you will find this information useful, and perhaps even encourage you to think about becoming a Governor in the future. Please also see the pdf at the bottom of the page which gives further details about the role of a Parent Governor.
If you are interested in governing your child’s school and would like to join us to help shape your child’s learning environment, please contact either myself or the school office to get the ball rolling! We look forward to welcoming you!
If you have any questions arising from this, please do not hesitate to contact us. Some Governors email addresses are included on the sheet, or to contact me, email via the school office: email@example.com.
